What is ICS?

The Innovation Centre for Students (ICS) aims to increase the level of innovation and entrepreneurial capability of UVic students across all faculties.  We hope to foster a culture of innovation by encouraging creative thinking and action; providing enhanced access to entrepreneurship education; and providing business strategy and planning assistance to students.

UVic Pitch Competition

All UVic students can participate in a new UVic Business Plan Competition. Students can compete in either the Pitch or Business Plan events, or both. Registration is free. Visit http://www.business.uvic.ca/compete/pitchit/index.html for more details.

UVic Business Plan Competition

Learn about entrepreneurship, build your network and participate in the UVic Business Plan Competition. Registration is free, and you could win $5,000 and earn your way to a national business plan competition in Ottawa, expenses paid. SIFE (Students in Free Enterprise)

Interested in helping to advance Canadian entrepreneurship in your community? Join SIFE, a group of students dedicated to developing and running innovative, creative, and effective educational outreach projects and entrepreneurial initiatives. Meetings have been cancelled due to final exam period, but will commence again in the summer.  Please contact smithb@uvic.ca if you are interested in learning more about SIFE UVic.
